As Friends continues to work towards our plan
of establishing the Great Lakes Wetlands Centre at Second Marsh,
this page will provide our members, the community, donors, and

Milestone successes along the path to establishing

The Great Lakes Wetlands
Centre represents much more than simply a new building - it
is about ensuring a future that values innovation and leadership
in the delivery of environmental education.
In light of this need there are specific
sponsorship and naming opportunities for both corporations and
individuals starting at $10,000.

office at 905-723-5047 for

A successful Great Lakes Wetlands Centre
Campaign will be the result of partnerships between Friends of Second
Marsh, the Federal and Provincial Governments, the City of Oshawa
and the private sector. The estimated cost for constructing the
Great Lakes Wetlands Centre, including displays and landscaping
is over $7 million. We anticipate that:
$3.25 million of funding will be secured through
government funding (Federal, Provincial and Municipal) and
$3.75 million will be raised in the private sector
through the Great Lakes Wetlands Centre Campaign.
The Great Lakes Wetlands Centre Campaign welcomes
all forms of giving:
