Trail Construction/Maintenance Program

Every fall, Friends of Second Marsh organizes a boardwalk repair and maintenance event in the Ghost Road Bush on the Bob Mills Boardwalk.

Constructed by volunteers under the supervision of Friends of Second Marsh staff, the Bob Mills Boardwalk provides a suitable travel surface through a sensitive area that protects unique wetland features. With the help of volunteers, including EDS Canada staff and the 32nd Scouts who have participated on the project for a number of years, 200-300 additional feet of boardwalk is created during an annual one to two day event.

To volunteer for this project, please contact Friends of Second Marsh at (905)723-5047.
